WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Track & Field team continues to show why they are one of the top teams in the region as they finished second at the SAC Indoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend. Highlighting the meet was
Kahlil West, who was named the SAC Field Athlete of the Meet thanks to his victories in the Heptathlon and High jump, as well as a fourth place finish in the long jump.
Joining West on the podium was the 4x400m relay team consisting of
Havyn Spain,
Marcus Crumpler,
Sean Crumpler, and
Liam Sutton, who won their event with a time of 3:17.99. The Bears best performance was in the multis, where they had three of the top-five finishers. West took home the win, while
Oliver Thatcher finished narrowly behind him in second and
Dion Enongene came in fifth.Â
The Bears finished with 24 top-10 finishes, 13 top-five finishes, seven top-three finishes, and three first place finishes. To view the full meet results, click
