HICKORY, NC - For the first time in nearly a month, the Lenoir-Rhyne baseball team failed to hit a home run. Despite this, they came back from a 4-0 deficit to take down the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters 8-6.
Michael Logan and
Cole Stanford each had two hits for the Bears.
Nathen Morris picked up his second win of the season in three innings of work.

- Lincoln Memorial went up 4-0 thanks to a first inning home run and two RBI singles in the fourth.
- Lenoir-Rhyne tied things up with a four-spot in the fifth.
- Cole Laskowski walked with the bases loaded and Sal Carricato notched an RBI hit-by-pitch on the very next at bat. Cole Stanford closed out the scoring with a 2 RBI single.
- LMU re-took the lead in the sixth, but Mackenzie Wainwright scored in the top of the seventh to even things back up.
- The Bears scored a run in the eighth and Michael Logan closed things out with an RBI double in the ninth.
- Andrew Harlow struck out nine in five innings of work, while Nathen Morris allowed just one earned run to pick up the win.
- Gavin Marley struck out two in the ninth inning to pick up his fourth save of the year.
- Owen Blackledge was 1-for-2 with three walks and two runs.
