Harrogate, Tn. - For the first time this season, The Lenoir-Rhyne baseball team dropped a weekend series. After a comeback on Friday night to take game one, LR lost a pair of games on Saturday as Lincoln Memorial took game one 6-5 on a walk-off home run, followed by a 13-7 series-clinching victory.
Alex Kahn hit a home run and added three RBI's in the night cap as LR will return home next Wednesday to start a six game home stand.

GAME ONE INFO:
- For the second straight game, LMU took an early lead as the Railsplitters went up 4-1 after four innings.
- Just like last night, LR stormed back with four straight runs to take a 5-4 lead heading into the bottom of the 7th. LMU tied things up in the seventh with an RBI groundout.
- Lincoln Memorial's Kevin Fernandez gave the home team the win with a walk-off home run with one out in the 9th.
- Mackenzie Wainwright and Owen Blackledge had six of the Bears 11 hits, with Blackledge adding three RBI's.
- Cole Laskowski went 2-for-4 with a run and RBI.
- William Girardi got the no decision with six innings of work, allowing four runs. Peyton Schofield took the loss with 2 1/3 innings out of the pen allowing two runs.
GAME TWO INFO:
- Lincoln Memorial scored in every inning but the third, including three runs the first and second innings before a four spot in the 4th inning.
- Lenoir-Rhyne got a pair of runs in the second before trying to battle back with a pair in the sixth.
- Down 13-4, the Bears got runs in the seventh from Mackenzie Wainwright, Owen Blackledge, and Cole Laskowski, but the lead was to much to overcome.
- Alex Kahn hit the Bears only home run of the weekend with a two-shot in the 6th.
- The Bears were held to just six hits as no LR player had a multi-hit game in this one.
- Kellen Gradisar got the start but only lasted 1 2/3 innings allowing six runs (three earned)
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- This loss drops the Bears to third place in the SAC
- Mackenzie Wainwright extended his hitting streak to 22 games.
- Wainwright and Laskowski have been on base in all 32 games this season.
UP NEXT: Lenoir-Rhyne will return home for a mid-week double header against Bluefield State. The Big Blue are currently 3-25 and have not played since Thursday March 27th against Wheeling, a 5-2 loss. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 PM for Durham Field.
