EMORY, VA - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse team took down Emory & Henry 24-3 on Saturday afternoon. Leading the way for the Bears was Peyton Gestole and Jack Mulligan, who each scored four goals.

STORY OF THE GAME

• Lenoir-Rhyne jumped on the shorthanded Wasps early, using three Peyton Gestole goals in the first quarter to open on a 9-0 run.
• E&H scored their first goal in with 11:02 left in the first half, but Brad Maslowski quickly got it back with two consecutive goals.
• The goals kept coming for the Bears as they led 19-1 after three.
• The Wasps opened the fourth with two consecutive goals before the Bears play five straight to close things out.

BEYOND THE STATS

• 13 Bears notched a goal in this one.
• Zachary Von Garrel got the win in his first career start in goal.
• Zac Heilmann was a solid 9-14 in face-offs.
