Wise wins Javelin, Sutton hits NCAA DII Provo mark in weekend meets

GREENSBORO/BOONE, NC - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Track & Field Teams took part in both the App State Open and NC A&T Aggie Invitational this weekend.

Josh Wise picked up a big win in the Javelin at the App State Open with a throw of 52.51m. Also having a great field performance was Harrison Waddell, who came just a meter shy of his personal best in the hammer throw with a mark of 51.19m, good enough for second place. The lone provo mark of the weekend was hit by Liam Sutton, who took eighth in the 110m Hurdles at the Aggie Invitational with a time of 14.39 seconds. That time also doubles as his personal best.

App State Open - Top-10 Finishers Aggie Invitational - Top Ten Finishers The Bears will compete in the LR open this Saturday in Hickory. That will be the final meet before the SAC Championships on April 30 - March 1.
