Mackenzie Wainwright continued to make his case for national player of the year on Saturday, as he hit two home runs and added a double in Lenoir-Rhyne's 7-6 win over Anderson.

STORY OF THE GAME:
- Owen Blackledge was responsible for both of Lenoir-Rhyne's first runs, as he hit an RBI single in the first inning and had a home run in the second to put LR up 2-1 after three.
- Mackenzie Wainwright extended the lead with home runs on each of his next two at bats, and the Bears led 6-4 after seven innings.
- The Trojans tied things up at 6-6 before Cole Stanford, playing in his first game in two weeks, hit a clutch RBI double to score the game's winning run.
- Wainwright went 3-for-4 with three RBI's, three runs, and an intentional walk.
- Blackledge went 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI's, and two steals.
- Gavin Marley (3-0) struck out four batters in 2.2 innings of relief work to get the win.
