Hickory, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne softball team used a dominant pitching performance from
Madison Wilson and some late game heroics from
Katelyn Rackard to take down Emory & Henry 5-1 on Saturday.
Wilson allowed just two hits in a complete game victory, and didn't allow one after the first batter of the second inning. Thanks to her pitching the Bears were able to stay in the game, and Rackard took advantage in the bottom of the sixth. With two outs and the bases loaded, she launched a grand slam to right field to break the tie and give LR the win.
