NEWBERRY, SC - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse team used a balanced attack to take down #16 Newberry 17-12 for their fifth ranked win of the season. 12 Bears picked up a goal in this one, led by a hat trick from
Jarrett Huff.
Lenoir-Rhyne never trailed in this one, as they took a quick 4-0 lead and never looked back.

STORY OF THE GAME
- Jarrett Huff and Evan Voss each scored two goals in the early going to put the Bears up 4-0.
- The teams traded goals for most of the half before the Bears closed with back-to-back goals from Cameron Herd and Nate Serrano to take a 12-6 lead at the break.
- Newberry got on the board first in the second half but any momentum the Wolves had was squashed by two straight goals from Matt Scruggs and Morgan Madish.
- Robert Walker and Owen Scott found the back of the net late in the third and the Bears led 17-9 with one quarter remaining.
- Despite not scoring in the fourth the Bears allowed just three goals late and comfortably won this one by five.
