ANDERSON, SC - The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse Team went down early and couldn't come back, falling 18-8 on the road at Anderson on Wednesday.

STORY OF THE GAME:
- Four different players scored in the first half for the Bears.
- Abbey Walker cut the lead to 7-4 early in the second quarter before Anderson went on an 8-0 run over the next 18 minute sto take a 15-4 lead.
- Chloe Christensen stopped the bleeding with her first goal of the day.
- Lenoir-Rhyne outscored the Trojans 3-2 in the fourth but the damage had already been done.
STATS OF THE GAME:
- Hannah Thoams led the way with four points coming off two goals and two assists.
- Ellie Campbell tied a season-high with nine draw controls.
- Caitlyn Race cause three turnovers and picked up three grounds balls.
- Sally Friesen made 10 saves in goal.
- The Bears held their own in shots, only falling 33-26 in that category.
- The Bears had seven penalties, compared to just one for Anderson.
