HICKORY, N.C. -- Despite playing with 10 men for 75 minutes against Palm Beach Atlantic, the Bears kept things close. Despite a valient effort, Lenoir-Rhyne fell 2-1 thanks to two second half goals from the Sailfish.

- In the 15th minute of the match, Fran Tita was shown a red card, dropping the Bears to 10 men for the rest of the game.
- Neither team got off a shot until Palm Beach Atlantic's Juan Hermoso's shot went wide left in the 22nd minute.
- Despite the man disadvantage, Lenoir-Rhyne held PBA to just five shots and went into the break tied 0-0.
