JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Lenoir-Rhyne volleyball delivered a statement road win on Friday night, sweeping previously unbeaten Carson-Newman 3–0 (25–21, 25–18, 25–22) inside Holt Fieldhouse.It was the first win at Holt Fieldhouse for the Bears since 2017.
Emmaleigh Allen (Wooster, Ohio) had a team-high 10 kills while
Averie Dale (Hickory, N.C.) and
Kayli Cleaver (Stanley, N.C.) chipped in nine each on the evening.

Lenoir-Rhyne built a lead behind strong serving runs (three aces in the set), holding off a late Carson-Newman push to win 25–21.

In the second, a balanced attack led by Cleaver (five kills) and Allen fueled LR to a comfortable 25–18 win.

In the third, Carson-Newman battled to a late 21–21 tie, but LR closed the set on a 4–1 run, capped by a Emmie Modlin (Pinehurst, N.C.) kill and Brooke Aeschliman (Mooresville, N.C.) ace to seal the sweep 25–22.
