HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's lacrosse team dropped their season opener on Sunday, falling 18-10 to #10 Rollins.

Kirra Olson each finished with two goals to lead the Bears.

- The Bears opened up the game with a 5-1 lead thanks to five goals from five different Bears.
- Rollins answered with a 7-0 scoring run that was stopped by a Kirra Olson rocket with 2:18 left in the half.
- The Tars continued to push in the third, outscoring the Bears 8-1 in the period.
- Lenoir-Rhyne picked up goals from Jessica Mikesell, Anneleise Meyer, and Addie Hale in the fourth.
