Anderson, S.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball team clinched at least a share of the South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship with an 83-75 road win over Anderson on Wednesday night. This win is extends their school record win streak to 18 games.
The Bears had four players in double figures, led by career high 16 points from freshman
Trista Charles.
Lauren Arnold dominated the glass and finished with a career high 13 boards.

STORY OF THE GAME:
- The Bears controlled the pace in the first quarter and had a 22-18 lead after 10.
- Abigail Brown opened up the second quarter with a three pointer, giving the Bears their first double-digit lead of the game.
- The Bears used an 11-0 run in the second to build their lead and took a 46-32 advantage into the break.
- The Trojans battled back in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to 53-51.
- Aaliyah El responded with an and-1, and Trista Charles hit a three at the buzzer to give the visitors a 64-56 lead at the break.
- The Bears led by as many as 16 in the fourth and held on for the big win.

- Trista Charles (16), Aaliyah El (15), Ralee Bare (13), and Abigail Brown (12) all finished in double figures.
- Lauren Arnold led the Bears with 13 rebounds while Ralee Bare was tops with five assists.
- The Bears shot 29-69 (42.0%) from the field, 8-33 (24.2%) from three-point range, and 17-22 (77.3%) from the free throw line.

- With tonight's win over Anderson, the Bears clinch at least a share of the SAC Regular Season Championship, their first regular season championship since 2014.
- Aaliyah El has scored in double figures for 13 straight games.
- This was the first time since 2022-23 Lenoir-Rhyne has swept the season series with the Trojans.
- Lenoir-Rhyne was ranked first in today's NCAA Southeast Regional Rankings.
