MT. PLEASANT, S.C. - Facing cold, windy weather and frost delays, the Lenoir-Rhyne women's golf team perservered and finished in a tie for fourth at the LR/West Dunes Intercollegiate. The Bears improved each round, going 322-311-306 to finish with a total of 939 (+75). 

Lincoln Memorial won the team title with a 915 (+51) while North Georgia's Camryn Wright (219, +3) took home medalist honors. 

Danielle Bekker led the Bears with a three-round total of 230 (+14), finishing in 10th. Eve Neild and Charlotte Colley each had strong final round to propel them to a tie for 15th with a 233 (+17). 

Bekker tied for second in par-3 scoring (E, 3.00) while both she and Colley were top-ten in par-4 scoring.

Women's Golf will be back in action on March 9-10 when they take part in the Jerry Surratt Memorial, hosted by Wingate. The tournament will take place in Monroe, N.C., at Stonebridge Golf Club.
