MARS HILL, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne men's lacrosse team set a new program record on Saturday, scoring 29 goals in a 25-goal defeat of Mars Hill. Four of Lenoir-Rhyne's top single game goal performances have now come against the Lions.

Donovan Powell and
Jack Mulligan each scoring four. Powell's second goal was the 100th of his career.

- The game was tied 1-1 for under 10 seconds before Morgan Madish gave the Bears the lead for good.
- After the Lions scored to make it 4-2 Lenoir-Rhyne went on a 21-0 run.
- During this stretch Sebastian Tobias scored the first goal of his Bear career.
- Matt Jones closed the game by scoring three consecutive goals.
