Madison Wilson and
Faith Carrigan each threw a two-hit shutouts as Lenoir-Rhyne blanked Coker 10-0 and 8-0 to move to 8-0 in the SAC.
Kaylan Brown and
Lani Warren hit home runs in the opener and
Autumn Joyce and
Alexandria Gray went deep in the night cap. Joyce finished the day with a team leading five hits.
The duo of Wilson and Carrigan have combined for eight shutouts on the season.

STORY OF GAME ONE:
- The Bears did all their damage early as LR scored three times in the first and put up a seven spot in the second.
- LR had five singles in their three-run first, including RBIs single from Avery Kiger, Kaylan Brown, and Adriana Lamantia.
- Brown and Lani Warren drilled home runs in the seven run second.
- LR had 12 hits in this one as Autumn Joyce, Madison Wilson, Warren, Brown and Kiger each had a pair of hits.
- Warren had her second 4 RBI game in this one.
- Wilson allowed just two singles in the complete game shutout, striking out eight to pick up win number 12.
STORY OF GAME TWO:
- Bears struck early again as both Kiger and Brown had bases loaded walks to score a pair in the first.
- Joyce then hit a two-run bomb to give LR a 4-0 lead in the second.
- Madison Primm had a two-run two-out double in the fifth which was followed by an RBI single from Joyce to give LR a 7-0 lead in the 5th.
- Alexandria Gray then sent everyone home with a solo blast off the scoreboard in the sixth.
- Faith Carrigan threw the complete game shutout, allowing just two singles as well. Carrigan moves to 10-3 in the circle for the Bears.
- Joyce had her third third three hit game and her third three RBI game of the year.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Wilson had a few milestones in the opener as Wilson picked up career win number 50.
- Wilson is the 11th pitcher in program history to win 50 games.
- Wilson also picked up career strikeout number 400. Wilson is the 10th player in program history with 400 K's.
- Warren home run is her 32nd career homerun, which is 12th most in program history.
UP NEXT: The Bears will hit the road next week and will start with a trip to Emory & Henry on Tuesday. The Wasps are 4-6 in the SAC after getting swept by Catawba earlier today. First pitch is schedule for 2:00 PM.
