MARS HILL, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse team got back in the win column with a dominating 18-1 victory at Mars Hill on Saturday. Seven different Bears produced multi-goal performances while
Jessica Mikesell led the team with five ground balls.
Sally Friesen made three saves in net as LR out-shot Mars Hill 37-8 and led 24-4 in shots-on-goal.

- Hannah Thomas scored two first quarter goals to help the Bears to a 6-0 lead after one.
- Jillian Daley scored a pair of goals in the second quarter as LR took an 11-0 lead into halftime.
- Mars Hill finally got on the scoreboard at the beginning of the third quarter, but Kirra Olson quickly answered with a goal of her own.
- The Bears scored four goals in the fourth and pulled away with an 18-1 win.
