HICKORY, N.C. - With two first quarter goals today,
Kirra Olson become the 11th player in program history to score 100 career goals as the Bears defeated Emory & Henry 20-2 to open SAC play.
Addie Hale and
Hannah Thomas led the Bears with three goals a piece with Hale adding three assists for six points on the afternoon.
Caitlyn Race and
Kate Carter had five caused turnovers as LR forced 27 in the victory.

STORY OF THE GAME
- LR jumped all over the Wasps with 11 first quarter goals, helpd in part by two from Hannah Thomas, Addie Hale, Savannah Stallings, and Kirra Olson.
- Both teams had a goal in the second quarter and the Bears took a 12-1 lead into the break.
- Lenoir-Rhyne had five different goal scorers in the third quarter as the home side held a 17-1 lead after 45 minutes.
- Hale scored her third goal at the buzzer to give LR their 20th goal of the afternoon.
