Paul Toovalian tied a new career high with 11 strikeouts as Lenoir-Rhyne defeated Emory & Henry 4-1 on Friday evening.

- Drew Beard got himself an RBI on the next at bat thanks to a ground rule double.
- Emory & Henry cut the lead in half with a run in the fourth.
- Wainwright hit an RBI single to score Nathan Kidder in the bottom of that same inning.
- Beard hit an RBI triple in the fifth inning to score Lenoir-Rhyne's final insurance run.
- Toovalian, Preston Drebes, and Michael Burnley held the Wasps scoreless over the final five innings.
