HICKORY, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne's quest for a 3-peat is over, falling 8-5 to Anderson in the SAC tournament.
The Bears will await until Monday's selection show for their NCAA Tournament assignment.

STORY OF GAME:
- Lenoir-Rhyne went up 3-0 in the fourth thanks to RBIs from Faith Carrigan and Autumn Joyce.
- Anderson got hot late, picking up four spots in both the fifth and sixth innings.
- A 2 RBI double from Kaylan Brown cut into the lead in the seventh, but a groundout on the next at bat ended it.
STATS OF GAME:
- Kaylan Brown was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored.
- Faith Carrigan (16-5) struck out four in the loss.
- Anderson out hit Lenoir-Rhyne 11-8.
- The Bears committed a season high five errors.
