Women's Track & Field Academic All-District Team Announced

HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's track & field team has placed six athletes on the CSC Academic All-District team.

Lenoir-Rhyne's honorees were Maria Carmona Orejon, Caitlyn Lensch, Molly McGrath, Olivia Overholt, Mackenzie Pringle, and Harper Ramsdale. Each individual is making their first appearance on the team.

The 2025–26 Academic All-District teams, chosen by College Sports Communicators, honor top student-athletes for excellence in both academics and athletics across all collegiate divisions. To qualify, athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and be ranked top-50 in the region in at least one event, either indoor or outdoor.

Due to to her athletic accomplishments, service, and academics, Mackenzie Pringle has been selected for Academic All-America consideration. The women's track & field Academic All-America team will be announced at noon on Wednesday, July 15.
