BEAVER FALLS, PA - Lenoir-Rhyne triathlon team took part in the Beaver County Tri Cup on Saturday, taking third out of 13 teams, and winning the DII portion of the event.
Leading the way for the Bears with a time of 1:04:24.26 was junior
Isis Gaskin, who placed sixth in the field and first out of all DII competitors. Not far behind her was
Agathe Claude, taking 10th with a 1:04:46.56. Rounding out the Bears in the top-15 was
Alessandra Maso, who's time of 1:05:26.46 was 15th on the nose. Just behind her was reigning national championship
Zoila Sicilia, who placed 16th after being used as a pacer for her fellow teammates throughout the race. Rounding out the scoring individuals was freshman
Emilia Dabadie, who took 31st with a 1:07:26.76.

The TriBears will have a few weeks off before heading to Wingate, N.C., on Sunday, October 4th, to take part in the inaugural Conference Carolinas Championships. Conference Carolinas features Wingate, Lenoir-Rhyne, Emmanuel, Newberry, Concord, King, and Barton.
