HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team continues their road dominance and took down the Coker Cobras in convincing fashion, 3-0, on Wednesday afternoon. The road warriors have amassed an impressive 5-0-1 record away from the Moretz Sports - Athletic Complex so far this season.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
• Lenoir-Rhyne dominated from start to finish in this one with senior
Abbie Brown striking in the fourth minute for the early lead off an assist from junior Aqsa
Mushtaq. Later in the first half, sophomore Stephanie Figueiredo came off the bench to put in her second goal of the season to make it 2-0 before the break. The Bears did not take their feet off the gas as junior Judith Verdaguer scored to secure the victory and make the score 3-0 in the 73rd minute.
• LR made it difficult on the Cobra's defense all afternoon, getting off 26 shots (10 on goal), while the Bears kept Coker out of their territory the majority of the game and limited the home team to just five shots (two on goal) all contest.
• Senior standout,
Loren Sterling continues to improve as her record to 7-2-1, while she added two saves in the contest.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• The Bears are on a five-game winning streak and are undefeated on the road so far this year.
• With the win, the Bears find themselves on top of the South Atlantic Conference standings with 15 points, three more than second place Carson-Newman. However, the Eagles own the tie-breaker with Lenoir-Rhyne thanks to a 1-0 victory on September 12.
• The previous three matches on the road against the Cobras, the Bears have tallied a 15-1 scoring margin against Coker.
