Box Score Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team fell at home to South Atlantic Conference rival Queens, 3-1, breaking a five-game win streak.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
• Lenoir-Rhyne got off to an impressive start in the first half, getting the third goal of the season from sophomore
Stephanie Figueiredo to go on top, 1-0, at the half. The second half was another story, as the Royals put in three goals in 12 minutes of action.
• The Bears put more shots up than the Royals (17-14), but Queens was more efficient on goal, 10-6. LR had more corner opportunities by a count of 7-1.
• Senior standout,
Loren Sterling fell to 7-3-1, the same record as the team, but she accumulated seven saves in the process. Rachel Quest earned the victory and added five saves to her portion of the boxscore.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• Figueiredo has added much needed impact, scoring one goal in two consecutive matches.
• Despite the loss, the Bears will still be at least tied for first place in the SAC standings, thanks to a three-point lead going into the match.
• This was the second SAC victory for the Royals this season and the Bears' third home loss of the season.
