Gaffney, S.C. – It was a battle of the unbeatens, as Lenoir-Rhyne and Limestone went to war on the hardwood on Saturday afternoon. The Bears stole a victory on the road against the Saints thanks to a last second, game-winning jumper from Djibril Diallo to put LR on top, 76-75.

STATS OF THE GAME:
•    The biggest difference in the game is each team's field goal percentage. The Bears made more shots on fewer attempts (47.5 percent from the floor) while the Saints made 26-of-63 (41.3 percent) on the afternoon.
•    The Bears were an efficient 87.5 percent from the charity stripe while Limestone shot just 66.7 percent in that category.
•    Lenoir-Rhyne has started to figure out their main rotation, with Diallo, Jon Jean, Cory Thomas, and R.J. Gunn all playing 30-plus minutes.
•    Jean led all scorers with 17 points, while Diallo and Thomas were not far behind with 16 and 15 respectively. All three shot it over 47 percent in the road victory.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
•    This was Jean's career and season-high in scoring with 17 points and his third double-digit scoring effort of the season. Both Diallo and Thomas have scored in double-figures in six of the first seven games.  
•    This win keeps the undefeated season alive as the Bears chase their best start since the 1990-91 season.  It also handed the Saints their first loss of the 2018-19 campaign.
