STATS OF THE GAME (Game 1):
• The Trojans scored the final 13 runs of the contest – including a 10-run seventh inning – to break the game open. All 10 runs in the frame were unearned. Chandler Castleberry (Waxhaw, N.C.) and Jackson Strange (Greenville, S.C.) both hit two-run home runs for the Trojans.
• For Lenoir-Rhyne, junior outfielder
Justin Dean (Mauldin, S.C.) hit a run-scoring triple while senior outfielder
Marcus Shoemaker (Colfax, N.C.) added three hits and an RBI in the setback.
• On the mound, Anderson's Austin Todd (Pelzer, S.C.) (1-2) earned the win in relief while junior

• The Bears got a bit of revenge in the nightcap, scoring the game's final 10 runs to salvage the split. Dean and junior first baseman
Alex Reynolds (Kings Mountain, N.C.) both hit home runs to lead the Bears' 10-hit attack. Dean now has a team-leading three round-trippers on the season.
• Lenoir-Rhyne sophomore
John Grigg (Lawndale, N.C.) pitched into the sixth inning and earned the win. Grigg improved to 2-0 while striking out four batters.
• For Anderson, Castleberry drove in a run with a single in the first frame while Matthew Stanley (Trinity, N.C.) (0-1) suffered the setback for the Trojans.
