SAINT LEO, FLA. - The Women's Soccer Team shut down Saint Leo in a 1-0 road win on Friday evening. It was the second win in as many seasons for the Bears over the Lions who registered just six shots on the evening.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
•    The match was scoreless for 54 minutes until sophomore Stephanie Figueiredo struck for her first goal of the season and her second career game-winner.
•    The Bears posted their second clean sheet of the season and held the Lions to just one shot in the first half and only three shots on goal in the contest.
•    Saint Leo was whistled for 16 fouls and got three yellow cards and one red card in the match.   
•    The Bears held a 9-6 advantage in shots, with each putting three on frame.  
 
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
•    It was the second straight one-goal victory for LR over Saint Leo. On Oct. 10 last year, the Bears took a 2-1 win over the Lions on a game-winner from Claire Neibergall.
•   The Bears are now 2-0 on the road with wins over Lees-McRae and Saint Leo.
