HICKORY, N.C. -- Lenoir-Rhyne graduate student Taylor Prall (OH, Tipp City, Ohio) has been named CoSIDA Academic All-District as announced by the organization this afternoon. Prall is now eligible to be an Academic All-American which will be announced later in the month. 

Prall is an Exercise Science major and was just named First Team All-Conference earlier this week. Prall has helped the Bears to a 20-7 overall record and a 14-4 record in league play by finishing second in the league in kills per set. Prall became one of three players to reach 1,000 career kills and 1,000 career digs and has been First Team All-SAC three years in a row. She ranks second in program history with over 1,400 career kills and has led the Bears to the SAC Tournament Semifinal for the first time since 2015. 

Prall and the Bears are set to take on Tusculum in the SAC Tournament Semiifnal on Friday at 4 p.m.
