HICKORY, N.C. -- In their first year of competition, the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Triathlon team placed four on the All-American list.
Standout freshman
Kayla Ribbink earned Second Team All-American honors, placing her in the top 14 in the nation. In the Honorable Mention All-American category, Lenoir-Rhyne placed three more.
Chloe Telian,
Andie Kuipers and
Teresa Vesely all earned Honorable Mention accolades.
The future of the program is bright after placing third at the National Championship in Tempe. All four All-Americans are sophomores or younger.
