ROCK HILL, S.C. - Ahead of Friday's conference tournament semifinal games, the South Atlantic Conference released the 2021 women's soccer All-Conference teams Tuesday morning. Lenoir-Rhyne had seven players represented, with Ria Acton and Vivien Becker Peralta earning first-team honors. 

Acton, a junior from Leicester, England, is on the first team for the second season in a row. She led the Bears and tied for 3rd in the SAC in points with 24, scoring nine goals and notching six assists. Becker Peralta, a freshman from Mallorca, Spain, played the crucial center-back position for LR, and logged over 1400 minutes in her first season anchoring the defense in the red and black. Becker Peralta and Acton combine to give LR 62 all-time First Team All-Conference selections. 

On the second team was freshman Leonie Proessl. The Cologne, Germany native led the Bears and tied for second in the SAC with 11 goals. She had three multi-goal games in SAC play and has scored in back-to-back games for the Bears. Her 22 points were second on LR and 4th in the SAC. 

LR had four players on the third team - Allie Zueger, Evan O'Leary, Stephanie Figueiredo and Grayson Cameron. Zueger, a graduate student from Aberdeen, S.D., earned her first All-Conference honors after finishing with three goals and two assists in nearly 1200 minutes. O'Leary, a freshman from Walnut Cove, N.C., scored eight goals and dished out six assists to finish third on the LR team and fifth in the SAC with 22 points.

Figueiredo, a senior from Wilmington, Mass., earned All-Conference honors for the second straight season after recording two assists in over 1400 minutes played. Cameron, a senior from Hickory, N.C., also is on the All-Conference team for the second season in a row after finishing in the top five of nearly every statistical category for goalkeepers in the SAC. 

Lenoir-Rhyne is looking to win their second straight SAC Tournament Championship. The Bears take on Queens in the semifinals on Friday at 2 p.m. in Matthews, N.C. in a rematch of last season's SAC Championship game, with the winner advancing to this year's SAC Championship Game on Sunday.
