COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Lenoir Rhyne's triathlon team earned the honor of Scholar American while five members were named as First Team Scholar All-Americans. 

The Bears were one of 27 colleges and universities to achieve the recognition of posting a team GPA greater than 3.2 or higher. 

Sabrina Fleig, Nanette Nikolajsen, Eliska Rihova, Chloe Telian, and Claudia Teran-Romagosa all received First Team All-American in Division II after finishing in the Top 20 at Nationals and recording a GPA of 3.5 or better. Sayti Plank ended up on the Division II Honorable Mention list after an impressive showing in the classroom. 

After capturing a national championship back in Nov. 2022, the women's triathlon team will compete again in the Clermont DL in Florida on March 4.
