BEAVER FALLS, Pa. - In their second competition of the 2023 season, the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Triathlon Team finished in third place at the Duquesne University Invitational/Beaver County Tri Cup with 69 points. 

Queens took home first place as a team with a 20-point performance while Wingate was the top Division II score with a 51-point second-place finish. 

For individual performances, sophomore Sabrina Fleig had the best LR time with a 1:03:50.61 posting, good enough for eighth place in the competition.  

Senior Teresa Vesely just missed a Top 10 finish with the 11th-best time of 1:05:16.13; while sophomore Eliska Rihova finished 14th with her time of 1:05:26.61 seconds. 

Senior Sayti Plank recorded a time of 1:05:39.62 to finish in 16th place while graduate student Chloe Telian rounded out the Top 20 with a 1:06:06.84 mark. 

After a fifth-place finish in the ETSU Aquathlon, freshman Zoila Sicilia did not finish the competition after getting a flat tire in the bicycle leg of the event. 

In addition to the varsity success, both the men's and women's club teams swept the podium for individual and team performances.
