HICKORY, NC - The quest for a three-peat starts in August, as head coach Harley Mason and the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Triathlon team have released their 2024 schedule. 

Coach Mason and the Bears have reached unprecedented heights for such a new program. Competing in their inaugural season just four years ago, LR already has two national championships (2022-2023) and a third-place finish (2021). 

"I am extremely excited about our upcoming season," said coach Mason. "We have a few races that are close to home, so it will be great to be able to have our supporters cheer us on out there. I am also looking forward to having a very strong returning team, with the addition of some promising incomers."

This year Lenoir-Rhyne will compete in two local events, giving fans a great chance to see the back-to-back national champions in action. They will travel 45 minutes to Davidson to take part in the Lake Davidson Triathlon on Sunday, September 15th, and will head down to Lake Norman on Saturday, October 12th to take part in the East Regionals.
