Justin Maullin the Lenoir-Rhyne women's soccer team has been ranked fourth in the first numerical regional rankings.
This is the first of two numerical regional rankings before the NCAA selection show on Monday, November 17th, at 6:30 p.m. Catawba, Lenoir-Rhyne, Wingate, Anderson, and Tusculum were the SAC schools represented in this week's rankings.
The Bears currently sport a 10-4-2 (7-1-2 SAC) record and finished the regular season last night with a 0-0 draw at No. 3 ranked Catawba. Lenoir-Rhyne is looking for their sixth straight NCAA tournament appearance, having advance to the national semi-finals in 2021 and quarterfinals in 2023.
Led by two-time SAC Offensive Player of the Week
Katie Durham's eight goals and seven assists, the Bears finished the regular season second in the SAC, giving them a home conference tournament game. They will face No. 7 seeded Wingate in that game, a rematch of a September 29th matchup that ended in a 1-0 win for the Bears. Kickoff for Saturday's contest is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. with the men's game vs. Wingate set to take place at 7:30 p.m.
