HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's soccer team has announced the schedule for the 2025 season. The Bears will play 18 matches in total, including eight non-conference games and an ten-game SAC slate.

The Justin Maullin era will kick-off on August 27th when the Bears face-off against Mount Olive in Advance, N.C. Lenoir-Rhyne will play at home eleven times during the 2025 season, including a five game home stand after the opening game against the Trojans. The Bears will host Belmont Abbey, Lee, Lees-McRae, UNC Pembroke and Lincoln Memorial during that early two-week stretch.

The home stand ends with the SAC opener against Lincoln Memorial on September 13th at 1:00 pm. 

Lenoir-Rhyne's first away game will be a trip to face off against national power and rival Columbus State on Wednesday, September 17th. The Cougars are coming off a national semi-final appearance last season. The Bears will conclude September with a rivalry game at Wingate on Saturday September 27th. 

It will be home sweet home in October as LR will play four of their six October games inside Moretz Sports Athletic Complex, including a three-game home stand against Newberry, Coker, and Mars Hill.

Senior day will take place on Saturday, November 1st when the Bears face off against Tusculum at 2:00 pm. For the fourth consecutive season Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba will conclude the regular season against each other as the Bears will travel to Salisbury on Wednesday, November 5th. 

The SAC Tournament will kick-off on campus sites on Saturday, November 8th, with the semi-finals and finals taking place in Matthews, N.C., on November 14th and 16th.

The 2025 NCAA Tournament will start a few days later on November 21st as the Bears are looking for their 12th appearance and fifth in a row.
