CHATTANOOGA, TN - The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Golf Team took part in the NCAA DII South Regional Preview to open up their 2025-26 campaign. The Bears finished with a 944 (+80), taking 14th out of 16 teams.
Leading the way for Lenoir-Rhyne was transfer
Danielle Bekker, who two rounds of 75 to help propel her to a 231 (+15). Just one stroke behind her was veteran
Eve Neild, who tied for 42nd with a 232 (+16), shooting three rounds under 80.
Jaya Wilkinson and
Charlotte Colley tied with a 241 (+25), while
Emily Gilmour rounded out the scoring with a 247 (+31).Â
Winning the tournament was Wingate, who totaled an 877 (+13) over three rounds. The Bulldogs' Amely Bochaton won the individual title, finishing with a 215 (-1).Â
INDIVIDUAL SCORES
Lenoir-Rhyne will be right back at it next Monday and Tuesday when they take part in the Savannah Lakes Fall Invitational. The tournament will take place in McCormick, S.C., at the Monticello Golf Club.
