HICKORY, N.C. - Aaliyah El has been named to the D2CCA All-Region First Team, as voted on by the regions' media personnel. 

The junior from Charlotte, N.C., is the team leader with an average of 17.5 ppg on .515 shooting from the field.  She scored in double-figures in all but three games and posted 11 games of 20 or more points. In addition to her offense, El is the team leader with 67 steals. Thanks in part to El, the Bears won the SAC Regular Season Championship for the first time since 2013-14 and rank second in the country with an average of 86.6 ppg.
