ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne men's lacrosse team has placed eight individuals on the All-SAC team. 

Regular season champion Wingate led the way with 10 honorees while Anderson was just behind with nine.

Donovan Powell (Attack) and Mac Murphy (Defense) were named to the All-SAC First Team, Morgan Madish (Midfield), Deacon Medwick (Defense), John Mink (Long Pole), and Owen Peters (Goalkeeper) to the All-SAC Second Team, and Jarrett Huff (Attack) and Matthew Mancini (Face-off Specialist) to the All-SAC Third Team. 

Donovan Powell leads the team with 72 points coming off 41 goals and 31 assists. He is tied with Ned Kaish for seventh all-time on the Lenoir-Rhyne points list with 170 for his career. This is his second consecutive All-SAC selection after being named to the second team last year. Freshman Mac Murphy has been a key piece of coach Paradine's defense this season, ranking second on the team with 14 caused turnovers and starting in all 14 games. He was a menace against Coker, causing four turnovers and picking up four ground balls.

Morgan Madish has posted 18 goals and 13 assists on the year for a total of 31 points. His season high of 7 points (4g, 3a) came against nationally ranked Newberry early in the year. This is his second consecutive all-conference honor. Deacon Medwick has started all 14 games he has played for the Bears this season, causing seven turnovers and picking up 14 ground balls. His third quarter goal against Wingate on March 25th started a 5-0 Bears run to pull away. John Mink is the team leader with 16 caused turnovers. He was named SAC Defensive Player of the Week after causing three turnovers and picking up five ground balls against Anderson. Owen Peters has won every game he has started this season, going 8-0 with a .604 save percentage. He leads the conference in save percentage and goals against average (6.93). 

Jarrett Huff ranks second on the team with 53 points, coming off 27 goals and 26 assists. A consistent performer over the last four years, he will finish his career ranked in the LR top ten for points, goals, and assists. Matthew Mancini has established himself as one of the best face-off weapons in the country these past few years. This year he ranks 10th in the country with a .661 FO%, going 162-245. Mancini is Lenoir-Rhyne's all-time leader with 449 ground balls and second with 731 face-offs won.
