ROCK HILL, S.C. - Senior defender Skylar Noll has won this week's South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award.

Noll, a Charlotte native, was a key piece of a Bears defense that posted two consecutive shutouts over Emory & Henry (1-0) and Newberry (4-0). 

During those two games Noll and the rest of the Bears' defense allowed just 10 total shots, with just four being on frame. Four of those 10 shots came from 18+ yards out and were while the opponent was in desperation mode. Newberry managed just three shots on Saturday and only one in the second half. In addition to her defensive duties, Noll is a primary set piece taker for the Bears. Her corner kick early at Newberry led to the Bears' first goal of the game.
