Birmingham, Ala. - Lenoir-Rhyne's Kevin Baxter qualified for the finals of the men's 60-meter hurdles at the 2013 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

Baxter, a redshirt freshman from Columbia, S.C., ran a school-record 7.97 seconds in the preliminaries on Friday and finished fifth overall.? The finals of the event will take place on Saturday at 4:25 p.m.
