Lotharp Starts Fast Out of the Blocks in Day One of NCAA Indoor Championships

Pittsburg, Kan. – Junior Sprinter P.J. Lotharp and Head Coach Danny Williamson made their second-straight trip to the NCAA National Indoor Championships, held this year in Pittsburg, Kan. They represent the Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Track & Field Team in pursuit of another All-American honor as he competes in the 60-meter and 200-meter events.

Lotharp came into the event ranking third nationally in the 60-meter event and followed that up with a seventh place finish in the prelims on Friday afternoon. He makes it to the finals on Saturday looking to finish with the title of All-American for the second-straight season.

The Indian Trail, N.C. native just missed the finals after finishing tenth in the field for the 200-meter dash with a time of 21:58.

The men's 60-meters is set for a start time of approximately 5:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
