Rock Hill, S.C.-- Lenoir-Rhyne's Joshua Lanham was named AstroTurf Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played during week two of the 2021 season, the South Atlantic Conference office announced today.
 
Lanham, a freshman from Augusta, Georgia, came in relief in game one of the Bears sweep of Coker on Sunday. Lanham picked up the victory, while throwing four scoreless innings and striking out six Cobras on the afternoon to help lead the Bears to a 14-1 win.
 
This was Lanham's first pitcher of the week award.
 
The Bears will return to action this weekend to open SAC play against #8 Catawba at Durham Field.
