HICKORY, N.C. -- Lenoir-Rhyne University sophomore right-hander Andrew Patrick is the NCBWA Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week as announced this afternoon. 

Patrick led the Bears to a 4-0 win over eighth-ranked Catawba by throwing the first no-hitter of the year in the South Atlantic Conference. Patrick's no-hitter is the first by a Lenoir-Rhyne player since 1997. He went the distance, allowing no runs and no hits over seven innings while striking out six.

Patrick earns the first Regional Player of the Week award since Clayton Jeffries earned the accolade on April 9, 2019.
