ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne's Andrew Patrick was named AstroTurf Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played during week three of the 2021 season the Conference office announced today.
 
Patrick, a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Catawba, N.C., led the Bears to a 4-0 win over nationally ranked No. 8 Catawba by throwing the first no-hitter of the year in the SAC. Patrick's no-hitter is the first by a Lenoir-Rhyne player since 1997. He went the distance, allowing no runs and no hits over seven innings with six strikeouts.
 
Lenoir-Rhyne has gone back-to-back with Pitcher of the Week honors as Joshua Lanham won last week.
