Team/Individual Results

Tazewell, Tenn.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Golf team finished in ninth place at the SAC Men's Golf Championship which took place on Monday and Tuesday. The Bears finished with a team score of 899 (+35) and were just 13 shots out of sixth place in the closely packed field.

Lincoln Memorial took the team crown with a -17 team score. For the first time in history, the SAC Tournament was comprised of 13 teams as Limestone finished its first season in the league. 

Lenoir-Rhyne's Liam Waldron was the Bears' top finisher, carding a total score of 219 (+3) which included a final round 75 on Tuesday. Waldron finished with birdies on the sixth and ninth holes on Tuesday and had six birdies in three rounds. Waldron also had an eagle on the first hole in his second round of the tournament. Waldron finished the year with a First Team All-Conference award to his credit and tied for 17th at the Championship. 

Tyler Hashmi finished 10 spots below Waldron, in a tie for 27th. Hashmi shot his best round of the tournament on Tuesday with a 73 to finish with a score of 222. Hashmi had an eagle on hole five and four birdies on the afternoon. 

Cole Sutherland (232), Dawson Walker (234) and Hank Robins (236) rounded out the Lenoir-Rhyne squad. 

Dan Bradbury won the individual title for Lincoln Memorial with a -20 which was 10 shots better than anyone else in the field.
