HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne men's and women's outdoor track and field teams continued their outdoor season at the VertKlasse Meeting at Dick Vert Stadium hosted by High Point University. The meet was streamed on ESPN+. 

Women's Highlights

• Holly Kone took sixth place in the women's triple jump, recording a score of 12.19m to finish ahead of Chelsea Davis from VCU and Micah Fulton from N.C. Central.
• Kone continued her strong showing at the meet with a 10th place finish in the 200m with a time of 25.49, which stands as a program record.
• Kennedy Conner took home a sixth place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.90 seconds, also a program record.
• Conner also took a 10th place finish in the high jump with a leap of 1.58m.
• Claudia Teran Romagosa recorded a personal best in th 1500m with a time of 4:54.67 to finish 46th out of 132 runners in the event. Elizabeth Kessler finished just a shade over five minutes in the same event to take 62nd. 
• Paige Ewald posted a personal best in the 5000m to finish in ninth place with a time of 17:58.79. Kathrin Polke finished right behind Ewald, also with a personal best, in a time of 18:01.79 for a 10th place finish.

Men's Highlights

• Trent Davis II blazed the 100m dash with a time of 10.49 seconds to finish seventh.
• Davis also took a top 10 finish in the 200m dash, finishing sixth with a time of 21.13 seconds.
• Distance runner Jacob Parkinson recorded a ninth place finish in the 5000m with a time of 14:43.09 for a personal best, one spot ahead of Virginia Tech's Scott Nalepa. 
• The 4x100m relay team took a third place finish with a time of 41.43.
• Nick Henriques finished 16th in the triple jump with a score of 13.86m.
• Orlando Descartes recorded a personal best with a 55.81m throw in the javelin, good for fourth place.
• All-American in Indoor Track, Dario Matau took home a first-place finish in the 100m dash with a school record time of 10.41.
• Lucas Besong finished second in the 200m dash with a time of 21.45 seconds for the senior. LR placed three in the top 10 in the event with John Sisson taking 8th and Marcus Crumpler coming in 10th.
