Team Leaderboard I Individual Leaderboard 

Greenwood, S.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Golf Team is opening this season at the Meredith Insurance Fall Kickoff this week and after day one, the Bears are in 8th place in the 17 team event. In round one, the Bears shot 315 as a team but improved 17 shots in round two for a total of 298. Round three will kick off at 8:30 on Tuesday morning as the Bears look to improve in their first tournament on the season. 

Freshman Charlotte Colley used two birdies in round two to move up to 8th place overall (out of 89). Colley finished the day +3 to lead the Bears and is eight strokes off of the lead heading into the final round. In all,  LR had a total of 21 birdies in the two rounds of action on Monday. 

The Bears are 32 shots off the lead from SAC foe Anderson with second-place Wingate 11 shots behind the Trojans. LR is only ten shots off from 5th place Limestone as the Bears look to climb the leader board in the final day. 

After Colley, Marta Cervero was in 29th place with a +10 while Eve Neild and Jaya Wilkinson are tied in 40th place. Marta Escudero is in 58th place heading into the final day. 

Bears will tee-off at 8:30 AM on Tuesday from the Links at Stoney Point in Greenwood, S.C. as LR looks to finish strong in their opening tournament.
