HICKORY, NC - After winning six of their first seven games, the Lenoir-Rhyne Baseball team has entered the top-25, coming in at #25 in this week's NCBWA Poll.
The Bears opened their season with a three-game sweep of Trevecca Nazarene, then followed that up by going 3-1 last week, including two wins over then #16 Young Harris.
Mackenzie Wainwright was named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Baseball Player of the Week after recording four multi-hit games. Wainwright produced ten hits, including a triple, three doubles and a home run.
