Matt Procopio became just the sixth All-American in Lenoir-Rhyne baseball history after being named to the NCBWA All-America Third Team.

Sal Carricato, Josh Lanham, and Dan Ford as the only All-Americans in program history.
The shortstop finished the season with a .436 batting average, which ranks 12th in the country and is the fifth best mark in program history. He tied for the team lead with 78 hits and was the solo leader with 60 RBI. On March 21st against Coker, Procopio tied the school record with three home runs in a game. The senior scored 48 runs, hit 15 doubles, one triple, eight home runs, had 16 walks, and was struck out just 12 times throughout the year. The primary shortstop throughout the season, he led the team with 115 assists in the field.
