HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne baseball team saw five individuals named ot the CSC Academic All-District team.
Drew Beard,
Sylas Boris,
Preston Drebes,
Trent Murchison, and
Matt Procopio were the Bear honorees.
The 2025–26 Academic All-District baseball teams, chosen by College Sports Communicators, honor top student-athletes for excellence in both academics and athletics across all collegiate divisions. To qualify, athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and either have started in 66% or participated in 90% of their games during the season.
Due to his on-field performance, Matthew Procopio was been selected for Academic All-America consideration. The baseball Academic All-America awards are announced on Tuesday, June 23.
